Rhos Caravan Park is in Pentraeth near Red Wharf Bay on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. Close to award winning beaches, the caravan park has panoramic views over the surrounding fields towards the mountains of Snowdonia.

Regular visitors to Rhos Caravan Park will be sad to learn that Mr Arthur Owen passed away suddenly on 10th October 2009. Sorry no tent or tourer pitches are available for 2010 - static and seasonal caravan pitches only. Spaces are currently available.

Rhos Caravan Park provides spacious accommodation for tents and caravans in a countryside setting on Anglesey. The caravan park adjoins a working farm and is close to award winning beaches.

Whatever type of holiday you have in mind, we will do our best to ensure you enjoy the attractions of island life as much as we do!

Mi fydd ei wraig, Sue, a'u merch, Sarah, yn parhau i rhedeg y maes, ac yn edrych ymlaen at eich croesawu yn 2010. Mae gan y maes lefydd eang ar gyfer pebyll a charafannau mewn lleoliad gwledig, gyda golygfeydd panoramig dros y caeau amgylchynol tuag at fynyddoedd Eryri. Mae'n agos hefyd at nifer o draethau hardd.

Caravan Park Amenities

Set in 15 acres the park offers the following amenities:

  • Several separate tourer fields. All pitches are on level, well maintained grass and offer a choice of open views or a more sheltered hedge or stone wall.
  • Electric hook-up points to all tourer pitches (10 amp).
  • Water taps in all fields and by toilet blocks. All cold water is drinking water, and all hot water is free of charge.
  • Launderette 1 with washing machine, tumble dryer, washing up sinks and ice-pack freezer.
  • Toilet block 1 with showers, free shaver & hair dryer sockets and washing up area. Adjacent dustbins, chemical toilet disposal, grey water dump grid.
  • Toilet block 2 with showers, free shaver & hair dryer sockets. Laundrette 2 with washing machine, tumble dryer & washing sinks. Adjacent dustbins and chemical toilet disposal. 50-70% of the hot water for this block is provided by solar energy.
  • Two children's playgrounds - one designed for under 10s and one for older children.
  • 4 acre dog walking field
  • Plenty of room for cycling, kite flying and ball games!

Static Holiday Caravans

I regret that I am unable to provide holiday caravan accommodation for 2010.

Most of the static caravans on the caravan park are privately owned - new and used vans are occasionally for sale. A few modern static holiday caravans are available to let and have:

  • shower and toilet
  • well appointed kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and microwave
  • digital television
  • gas and electric heating
  • fully equipped for self catering except for sheets and pillowcases
  • all letting caravans are strictly non-smoking
