Established for almost 60 years and still run by the Owen family, Rhos Caravan Park provides spacious accommodation for tents and caravans in a countryside setting on Anglesey. The caravan park adjoins a working farm and is close to award winning beaches.
Whatever type of holiday you have in mind, we will do our best to ensure you enjoy the attractions of island life as much as we do!
Cafodd Maes Carafanau Rhos ei sefydlu bron i 60 mlynedd yn ôl gan y teulu Owen, a hwythau sy'n parhau i'w redeg hyd heddiw. Yn gyfagos iddo mae fferm gweithredol sydd hefyd yn cael ei redeg gan yr un teulu. Mae gan y maes lefydd eang ar gyfer pebyll a charafannau mewn lleoliad gwledig, gyda golygfeydd panoramig dros y caeau amgylchynol tuag at fynyddoedd Eryri. Caravan and Camping Park Amenities
Set in 15 acres the park offers the following amenities:
- Reception is well stocked with information on local tourist attractions, tide times and weather forecast.
- Several separate tourer and camping fields. All pitches are on level, well maintained grass and offer a choice of open views or a more sheltered hedge or stone wall.
- Electric hook-up points to all tourer pitches (10 amp) and some tent pitches (5 amp).
- Water taps in all fields and by toilet blocks. All cold water is drinking water, and all hot water is free of charge.
- Launderette 1 with washing machine, tumble dryer, washing up sinks and ice-pack freezer.
- Toilet block 1 with showers, free shaver & hair dryer sockets and washing up area. Adjacent dustbins, chemical toilet disposal, grey water dump grid.
- Toilet block 2 with showers, free shaver & hair dryer sockets. Laundrette 2 with washing machine, tumble dryer & washing sinks. Adjacent dustbins and chemical toilet disposal. 50-70% of the hot water for this block is provided by solar energy.
- Two children's playgrounds - one designed for under 10s and one for older children.
- 4 acre dog walking field
- Plenty of room for cycling, kite flying and ball games!
Booking
During holiday periods it is essential to reserve your place in advance with a deposit; for low season a phone call or e-mail will suffice. Please see our tariff and site rules, and then fill in and post our booking form to make a booking. We always try to accommodate the casual tourer but please don't just turn up for a Bank Holiday! The camping fields are large but we do limit numbers for everyone's comfort.
Static Holiday Caravans
Most of the static caravans on the caravan park are privately owned - new and used vans are occasionally for sale. A few modern static holiday caravans are available to let and have:
- shower and toilet
- well appointed kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and microwave
- digital television
- gas and electric heating
- fully equipped for self catering except for sheets and pillowcases
- all letting caravans are strictly non-smoking
All self catering accommodation is now fully booked until mid September.
